Skipping ahead several days, and many small steps later, the big jig makes an appearance. The chainstays, seen here, are mostly done- the dropouts have been brazed to the stays, and the bottom bracket ends are cut roughly to length. Once the miters are finished to match the contours of the inside of the bottom bracket shell, the chainstays will be ready.

The short down tube seen here was an experiment in weight saving, but was abandoned for the final frame.
