2. the thistle ->As is the case with most Wildebeest framesets, I build the fork first. For some reason, when I have done a frame before building its fork partner, things have gone awry. The flow and the rhythm did not happen quite the same way; gremlins caused silly mistakes to occur. I can not tell you why.Anyhow, you start with a view of most of the future fork's bit parts. Both crown and stainless steel dropouts are castings from Henry James; fork blades are from Dedacciai. The steerer (which did not make it into the photo) size is 25.4 millimeters, in case you are keeping score. |
