2. the honeybell ->Things move quickly here. Well, no, in fact the thing is, like, the original photeaux for some of the older bikes like the Honeybell, or the Meyerlemon, or the First Touring bike, are locked up on an older disc, formatted in a different way, and unavailable to me at this time. For now, I am left to use the few pics that I can get at, at least until the graphics department is fully staffed again.Never you mind- you are here to look at bike building. Well, in this photo, the fork for the Honeybell is nearly done; the contraption seen here, and in some other galleries on this site, is a clever bit of kit that holds the brake bosses still until they are torched permanently to the fork legs. There are other pictures scattered around that will show you other aspects of the fork-building process, so do not hesitate to wander off and gaze at other bikes. Well, maybe see this one through to the end, then go- there are only a couple more shots to go. |
