This miter may have appeared in another gallery- I do not remember right off, silly of me I know, age and what have you, lack of attention caused by, uh, lack- what was I writing? Oh yes, the miter. Well, at the risk of duplicating something already viewed, this is the bottom end of the seat tube, which has been cut and filed to fit the curve of the inside of the bottom bracket shell and the curve of the down tube, which this tube touches when both are inserted in the self-same bottom bracket shell.

It is not the most critical miter that has to be cut for a lugged bicycle frame, but any joint on the frame should be accurate for the sake of straightness and strength.
