1. the xox ->It looks, from this angle, very like a couple of baby birds' heads pointing skywards from the nest, hoping for a snack of bugs and worms...In fact, this is the second of the fork crowns I prepared for the XOX. The first looked very like this, but a brazing job deemed inadequate by W'beest Quality Control warranted another go. As with other metal parts, the tasks preparatory to brazing include filing and sanding, additional carving if desired, and generally making everything super shiny and clean in advance of the torch. |
